Miss Julia Helen Brzezowicz, daughter of Mrs. Stella
Brzezowicz, Krakow, Wis., became the bride of Walter James Grabon, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Walter John Grabon, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), on Saturday, July 14, 1962
at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp. Rev. F. Brockman performed the eleven
a.m. double ring ceremony, with a High Mass.
The bride wore a dress of
nylon embroidered organza featuring full skirt and puff sleeves. She carried a
cascade bouquet of yellow tea roses.
Miss Agnes Falkowski, friend of the
bride, was maid of honor. Miss Florence Brzezowicz, sister of the bride, was
bridesmaid, and Miss Joe Beuerfeind, cousin of the groom, was flower girl. They
wore orchid embroidered nylon organza dresses styled with skirts and jacket
tops. Their bouquets consisted of yellow chrysanthemums.
Richard Plansky,
friend of the groom, was best man, and ushers were Michael Grabon, cousin of the
groom, and Robert Badzinski, friend of the groom.
A reception for 200
guests was held at the American Legion Hall, Thorp.
The bride attended
Stout State College and Was employed by Waldo Public School as a home economics
teacher. After a wedding trip to the Seattle World’s Fair, the Grabon’s will
make their home in Estherville, Iowa.
