Kren, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (55th - 19 June 1967)
Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Kren of Neillsville celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary Monday at their
home, with several of their children and families spending the day with them.
Mr. Kren and the former Emma Karger were married June 19, 1912 in Chicago,
Ill., home of Mrs. Kren. Mr. Kren was born in Austria and came to the United
States as a young man with his parents.
Following their marriage, Mr. and
Mrs. Kren resided in Milwaukee and in 1920 moved onto a farm in the Town of
Levis. They farmed there until 1947, when they moved into their home in
Neillsville in which they have resided for the last 20 years.
Mr. and
Mrs. Kren are the parents of six children: Mrs. Howard (Anna) Strebing of
Marshfield; Harold and Walter Kren, both of Neillsville; Mrs. Harold (Irene)
Sager of San Diego, Cal.; Kenneth Kren, on the home farm in the Town of Levis;
and Mrs. Darrell (Eleanora) Raine of Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Kren also
have 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
