Local students receive degrees from UW-River Falls

The following local residents were among the 823 students who received degrees during spring commencement at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in May.

Michael Benzschawel of Withee, WI received a BS-Ag, Food & Env Science degree with a major in Agricultural Engineering Tech.

Jason Danielson of Cadott, WI received a BS-Ag, Food & Env Science degree with a major in Dairy Science.

Ryan Grajkowski of Thorp, WI received a BS-Ag, Food & Env Science degree with a major in Horticulture.

Mary Handrich of Thorp, WI received a Master of Science degree with a major in Agricultural Education.

Chelsi Lauer of Stanley, WI received a BS-Liberal Arts degree with a major in Sociology.

Maranda Mahr of Stanley, WI received a BS-Liberal Arts degree with a major in Marketing Communications.

UW-Oshkosh announces Dean’s list, Honor Roll for spring 2012

University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh officials have announced the names of students who qualified for the University’s Dean’s list and Honor Roll in the spring semester of the 2011-2012 school year.

To qualify for the Honor Roll, as student must take at least 12 credits and earn a grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.3 (out of a possible 4.0, or ‘all A’s’). Those with a GPA of 3.75 or higher qualify for the Dean’s list.

The following students completed degree requirements at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in May. The 102nd annual Spring Commencement was held at the La Crosse Center Sunday, May 13.
