 If anyone is in doubt of the feeding qualities of this so called silage call on Harry Eide for further information.  He states that silage and whey should go hand in hand and why not?  Is not one just as sour as the other?

Lucky are the convicts, lunatics and paupers.  For they don't have any taxes to pay.

Miss Elizabeth Guk who holds a position of nurse in a hospital at Milwaukee spent Christmas at home.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Pane and baby of Humbird returned to their home on Monday after spending a few days at the home of Mrs. Pane's father, Mr. Fred Grade.

Chas. Guk who is a good natured Democrat and a horse jockey is following his profession, but thus far failed to make a deal.

A number of young folks and a few neighbors called on Mr. and Mrs. L.A. Kleinschmidt Sunday evening and all report a pleasant time.

Miss L. Kleinschmidt who is teaching school at Greenwood spent her 2 weeks vacation at home.

Last weeks items:

School closed last week Friday for a three weeks vacation.

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jensen spent Sunday at W. Albrecht's.
