Mr. Earthmire, Secretary of the Wisconsin Anti-Saloon League delivered a fine speech at the M.E. Church Sunday afternoon.

Miss Pearl Pease is working for Mrs. Wm. Davis.

Mrs. Jerry Davis and daughter Pea spent from Saturday until Monday in this vicinity.

Neva Benedict has been sick with pleurisy in her side.  Dr. Ross is attending her.

Wm. Lawrence and daughter Naom returned Saturday from their visit at Omro, Wis.

John Learned of Fox Lake came Saturday for a visit in this vicinity.

George Mortimer went to Chilton, Wis. last week for a two weeks visit.

Mrs. Forest Rowe spent a few days with her mother at Neillsville.

Mrs. Jennie Fulwiler is on the sick list.

Edith Learned returned from her visit at Fox Lake, Saturday.

The New Years dinner at the Woodmen hall was well attended.  A jolly time was had by all.  Some very good resolutions were formed.  For further particulars call on Earl Campbell and Ed. Voigt.

The revival meeting for the York Center Free Methodist church will begin  Jan. 12.  The pastor will be assisted by conference evangelist Rev. F.F. Wolf and other Christian workers.  Come and share with us a feast of good things.  E.A. Wolfe, pastor.
