Mrs. Mary Norman went to Merrillan last week and spent Decoration Day with
relatives in that place, and returned here Thursday.
John Martin left
this week for Waukesha where he will take treatments for rheumatism.
Clark Books and Leo Grassman, accompanied by their best girls, attended the
class play at Neillsville Friday night.
Mr. and Mrs. James Sternitzky and
daughter Martha of Marshfield moved here this week and are now settled in their
old home. They are welcome neighbors by their old friends.
Ernest Hankey
of Chili was seen in town Sunday.
Mrs. C. Montag returned home from Chili
this week.
J.L. Keller has improved his residence and store with a coat
of paint.
Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Baer of Granton and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Hantke
of the Ridge were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn Sunday evening.
Paul Folz and daughter Barbara and Mr. and Mrs. John Lenhart and two children
visited friends in Lindsey Sunday. R.T. Washburn took them in his auto.
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ure and Mr. and Mrs. John Breseman autoed to Neillsville Sunday.
Chas. Brooks and daughter Pearl were visitors at E.F. Brooks’ Sunday.
Paul G.W. Keller, principal of the high school of Appleton, wife and 3
children, accompanied by his mother-in-law, Mrs. Hanson, and Miss Cancross of
Appleton, arrived Saturday and visited Mr. and Mrs. J.L. Keller until Tuesday.
John Martin transacted business at Neillsville Friday.
Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Sternitzky and daughters Anna and Louvila were shopping in Neillsville
last Tuesday.
Mrs. R. T. Washubrn left this week for Tomah for a week’s
visit with relatives and friends.
Will Dankemyer went to Chili last
Tuesday to register.
