Henaman, Rachel Alberta (Marriage - June 1967)
The Rev.
David Logue performed the double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Rachel
Alberta Henaman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Henaman of Rt. 3, Greenwood, and
Herbert L. Laib of Rt. 1 Willard. The ceremony took place in the Immanuel United
Church on Rt. 2 Greenwood. Mr. Henaman gave his daughter in marriage.
The bride chose a floor length gown of Rashell lace over white satin, styled
with a detachable train. The fitted bodice featured Empire waistline, lowered
round neckline and long Rashell lace sleeves. A double crown of pearls held her
elbow length veil. She carried an arrangement of pink roses and ivy.
Bridal aides were Miss Karlene M. Laib as maid of honor and Miss Clara J.
Henaman as bridesmaid.
The groom’s attendants were Brian Sneider, Frank
Pozega, Wayne Wegner, Duane Pozega, Jon Henaman and Jody Laib.
The bride
a 1967 graduate of Greenwood High School has been employed at Red Pines, near
Willard. The groom, a 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School, is employed as a
laboratory technician at a research farm. He also attended the Marshfield
Extension Center.
On their return from a wedding trip to Kentucky, Mr.
and Mrs. Laib will reside in Willard.
