Conway, Connaught Bridget (Marriage - 17 June 1967)
St.
Bernard’s Catholic Church in Thorp was the setting for the wedding Saturday of
Miss Connaught Bridget Conway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Conway of Thorp,
and John Lindquist, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Lindquist of Thorp. The Rev.
Francis Brockman performed the double ring ceremony in which Mr. Conway gave his
daughter in marriage.
The bride appeared in a floor length ivory silk
organza over peau gown, fashioned with a Watteau chapel length train of silk
illusion. She carried an arrangement of corn flowers.
Mis Jane Conway of
Milwaukee, sister of the bride was her maid of honor. Miss Suzanne Conway served
as bridesmaid. The attendants, carrying bouquets of yellow daisies, were seen in
gowns of yellow print organza.
St. Bernard’s children’s choir,
accompanied by Suzie Keating, sang. Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Teclaw also sang a
duet.
The bride, a January 1967 graduate of Marquette University, and the
groom attended University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. On their return from a
wedding trip to Colorado, Mr. and Mrs. Lindquist will reside in Eau Claire.
