Cut worms have begun their destructive work.
Mr.
C. Anderson of Owen spent a few days in this vicinity the past week.
Ed
Rowe of Neillsville is building a porch for Howard Begley.
Miss Gladys
Parrett spent Tuesday night with Verla Rowe and Violet Fulwiler at the home of
the former.
Miss Ellen Anderson of Owen spent a few days here with her
sister.
John Lastofka drove to Neillsville last Tuesday with a veal calf.
Ernest Rowe and family, ruth Vandeberg, Gladys Parrett, Goldie and Ellen
Anderson spent Sunday evening with A.P. Fulwiler and family.
The school
in district No. 2 closed Friday with a picnic in the school yard. John Kubat and
family from Neillsville, Mrs. Wayne Potter and Miss Elsie Lastofka of South York
attended.
Will O’Brien is busy building his basement wall.

Kaudy has sold his farm and has moved to Christie.
Quite a number from
here went to Neillsville on Decoration Day.
