D.F. Wallace has resigned his position as buttermaker here and he and his wife have gone to Milwaukee where he has a good position in an ice cream factory.

Anna, wife of Chris Christenson, died Thursday at Rose Lawn after a long suffering illness. We sincerely sympathize with the bereaved ones.

Esther Jackson close a successful term of school in Globe District with a picnic on Friday.

Mrs. Julius Kleist of Eau Claire is visiting at the home of her father, August Worchel and family.

Arthur Thomas and John Poppe played at a barn dance near Greenwood Saturday night.

There was a mistake in one of our items last week, which read, “Richard Hagedorn and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dudei in South Grant Sunday.” It should have read “Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dux,” and not Dudei.

John Prock was sick with pneumonia last week and is, at this writing, seriously ill with paralysis of the bowels. He was taken to Marshfield to the hospital where it is hoped he will get relief.

There is Lutheran School four days of each week, commencing Monday, and ending with Thursday.

Linus Prock and family were at Loyal Sunday afternoon.

Victoria Konieczny returned to her home at Eau Claire satu, having completed teaching the term in the brick schoolhouse.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Schwellenbach had their little son christened at the Catholic Church at Neillsville Sunday.

Hulda Dudei came home from Miles City, Mont on Tuesday, where she spent the winter.

A.B. Marsh has a windmill put up on the old Bullard farm.
