Yoder, Lily (20 JUN 1881 - 20 AUG 1962)

Funeral services for Mrs. Lily Yoder, 81, of Colby (Clark Co., Wis.), who died in St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield Monday, were held Wednesday afternoon in the Presbyterian Church at Gilman. The Rev. Kind officiated and burial was made in the East Thorp Cemetery.

The former Lillian Borck was born at New Holstein, Wis. on June 20th, 1881, and was married to George W. Yoder at Thorp on April 5, 1899. She had made her home at Colby the past four years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church at Gilman and of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Delmar (Edythe) Smith, Colby, four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Alma Coates, Thorp, and Mrs. K.R. Miller, Vancouver, Wash.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1950.
