electric storms.

and moved it onto his lot.
There was a social gathering at Abe Harding’s
Monday evening.
John Goddard, son of Milt Goddard had the misfortune of
losing the ends of two fingers on his left hand through playing with dynamite
caps. Boys are bound to get into mischief.
Miss Anna Kempine is helping
Mrs. A. Degener with her housework.
Some of our fishermen had marvelous
luck of late. Some of the fish were so anxious to get caught, that they stayed
right in one place with their mouths wide open, until a hood with or without
bait dropped smack into it. All the fish had to do was to just shut the mouth
and get jerked onto terra firma. Ask Fred Dankemyer. His car almost needs new
springs to hold up another load of fish. Ernest Neinas will almost equal this.
This country needs men for the front and more than men it needs money to
keep the men supplied to start and to live.

Chas. Schlinsog returned home from their North Dakota visit on Tuesday.

Peters and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Reetz autoed over from Granton Monday and were
