Jimmie Stewart is working for Al Christensen hauling material
for the new house that All is going to build this season. They are digging the
new cellar now.
Abe Harding has moved out of the old home place and is
now living on the place known as the Gus Pollnow place.
We understand
that Henry Nebel has become the owner of a new Dodge car. His brother Ferdinand
owns a Ford. But now Ferd you are not in it with Henry anymore, all right,
Henry, we will give you the full four rods.
Ernest Hankey will soon live
in his new home as he is about to move in this week.
A large bunch from
here went to Hatfield Sunday. About 60 pounds of fish was the result.
Hay
and grain are making up for lost time now.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mundt were
Chili callers Monday.
Andrew Ley and son Charles made a trip to
Marshfield on business Monday of this week.
Wellie Davis and wife called
at Al Christensen’s Tuesday evening.
Mr. A. Wendorf, the Chili depot
agent, autoed over from Chili Tuesday evening to inspect his crops on this farm
here.
Tony makes his regular trips to Lynn lately. Well that is alright,
Tony, but you must not be afraid to come home in the dark.
