Ex-Assemblyman Dies
Colby, Wis. –
Ex-Assemblyman Joe Weix, Sr., 50, died suddenly Monday at his home from a heart
attack.
His widow and five children survive.
He was active in
politics in Marathon county having served as an assemblyman and a member of the
county board.
He was also connected with the Medford Canning Co. of
Medford.
Note: No indication of his burial is at Colby Memorial or St.
Mary’s/Colby. The published date of the newspaper was Tuesday, March 31, 1925.
His death was reported on Monday, making it the 30th.
