It rains nights and Sundays to the hired man can
rest.
Frank Davis, wife and daughters Stella and Francis, with Erwin
Brooks, autoed out Sunday to have a look at Mrs. Hungerford’s place. Mr. Brooks
was looking it over for his son-in-law, Mr. Norman, who wishes to buy.
Mrs. Otto Reimer and children went to Antigo to visit relatives.
Glen
Snow and family, D. Phillips and wife, Jason Phillips and wife visited at J.
Davis’ Sunday.
Gerald Davis returned Monday to his work at Taconite,
Minn.
Geo. Williams’ mother was here visiting her son and family. She
returned to Granton.
Dan Brooks is stumping for Hadon Shafer and Fred
Hill.
The Sunday school at Chili is planning on having children’s day
June 24. Everybody come and help.
Thursday Irene Brooks and Percy Hallock
will graduate from Marshfield High School.
Beulah Dow came home from
Chippewa Falls where she is attending high school.
