John Vandeberg left Monday night on the midnight train for Fond du Lac County to
attend the funeral of a cousin.
Mrs. Forest Rowe was a caller at the
Pease home Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Schoenfeld of Plymouth and Emil
Schoenfeld and wife took supper Sunday night at Abie Turner’s.
One of
John Vandeberg’s driving horses got a bad cut Monday that will lay it up for
some time.
A.C. Turner was at Granton Monday with veal calves.
Forest Rowe has been busy the past week planting corn and potatoes on a piece of
ground he rented of Omer Deets.
Grant Turner rode the Woodmen goat
Saturday night and he hain’t able to be out since.
We are sure getting
enough rain to keep thing growing.
E.M. Schoenfeld and wife, Martin
Schoenfeld and wife, Mable Teatz and George Turner spent Tuesday evening at J.
Voight’s.
There will be a Children’s Day program at the York Center
Church next Sunday.
