Miss
Lorraine Hazuga, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hazuga, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.),
became the bride of Charles W. Lien, son of Mr. and Mrs. Hjalmer Lien, Chippewa
Falls, on Saturday, Oct. 13, 1962 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Thorp. Rev.
Francis Brockman performed the eleven o’clock ceremony.
The bride, given
in marriage by her father, wore an intermission length gown styled of scalloped
embroidery on nylon organza over taffeta. A tiara crown made of seed pearls held
her pure silk illusion veil and she carried a bouquet of yellow roses.
Miss Marlene Hazuga, the bride’s sister, as maid of honor, wore an aqua satin
street length gown. Mrs. Wm. Risinger, also sister of the bride, was bridesmaid,
wearing a gold gown styled identical to the maid of honor. Each carried a
bouquet of bronze and gold mums.
John Hazuga, brother of the bride, was
best man, and Ronald Lien was groomsman. Ushhers were Wm. Risinger and Douglas
Kohnke.
A reception was held at the American Legion Hall.
After a
wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Michigan, the new couple will make their
home at 325 W. Columbia St., Chippewa Falls.
