Brunner, Anna #2 (22 AUG 1873 - 29 NOV 1962)

Mrs. Andrew Brunner, a longtime resident in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away of old age infirmities at her home in the city on Thursday, Nov. 29, 1962. She had reached the age of 89 years, 3 months and 7 days.

The former Ann Ziehr was born in St. Johns, Wis. on Aug. 22, 1873. She was united in marriage to Andrew Brunner at Thorp on Nov. 28, 1893. She lived all her married life in Thorp, and upon the death of her husband in August 1953 resided with her son, Barney Brunner, here.

Surviving her are two sons, Barney Brunner of Thorp and George Brunner of Chippewa Falls; two daughters, Anna, Mrs. Alfred Hanson, and Mrs. Theresa Auberg, both of Owen, and one brother, Rhinehard Ziehr of Plymouth. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by six children.

Funeral services for the deceased were conducted by Father Francis Brockman at St. Bernard’s Church here at ten o’clock Monday morning, Dec. 3rd, and interment took place in St. Bernard’s Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Edward Bogumill, Ray Arndt, Frank Swienton, Anton Beller, Edward Beller and Louis Badzinski.
