Brandsness, Hjalmar E. (4 MAY 1897 - 18 DEC 1962)

Hjalmar E. Brandsness, 65, passed away at his home here Tuesday, Dec. 18, 1962 after an illness of several months during which he had been receiving treatment for a tumor.

Mr. Brandsness was formerly manager of the Lyman Lumber & Fuel Co. here and had been with that firm for many years. He retired last spring.

Funeral services will be conducted at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church by Carl Peters, pastor at Stanley at 2:00 o’clock Saturday afternoon, Dec. 22nd with military rites at the graveside.

The body will lie in state at the Thorp Funeral Home from Friday at 1:00 o’clock until 11:00 o’clock Saturday morning when it will be taken to the church. Interment will take place in the Evergreen Cemetery at Stanley.
