The W.W. Club met with Mrs. W.J. McClaflin
Thursday. A good attendance and a good time is reported.
A number from
this vicinity took in the ice cream social at the Woodman Hall at York Center
Thursday evening.
W.M. Winn and wife, Harold Hiles and wife, Jesse Rowe
and Geo Wilson were callers at Fred Wright’s the past week.
Mr. and Mrs.
A.W. Phipps and daughter spent Sunday with their son George near York Center.
The J.B. Club held a social meeting at Justin Johnson’s Friday evening. A
large crowd was in attendance. The next meeting will be at M. Dorst’s June 30th
instead of June 23 as announced at last meeting.
The Country Club met at
the W.J. Davis home Friday evening. Owing to the meeting of the J.B. Club the
same evening, the attendance was not very large.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Dorst
and family spent Sunday afternoon at Lem Curtis’ at Heathville. Miss Veulah
returned home with them and is spending the week with Mabel.
Bert Wells
spent Sunday afternoon at Orrin Montgomery’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartz
returned from their visit at Eagle River on Friday.
Bernice Wright spent
Friday night with Mabel Dorst.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hayden have purchased
the Chester Finnigan place south of here and moved on to it on Wednesday.
The Misses Jean and Sara Davis went to Colby Tuesday morning for a few days
visit at the J.B. Daughhetee family.
Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Rowe and children
spent Sunday evening at Mike Dorst’s.
Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Davis and
daughters Jean, Sara and Ursula spent Sunday evening at F. Wright’s.
Mrs.
Guy Winn visited Mrs. L.A. Schneider Monday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. A.W.
Phipps and daughter Esther spent Tuesday at Neillsville.
L.E. Moh and
family, G.E. Amidon and daughters, W.J. Davis and family and C.L. Winn and
family were Sunday guests at Fred Wright’s.
