Mr. and Mrs. Fred Handke and
children attended the picnic at the Fischer Church on Sunday.
Mrs. Lillis
Converse spent the weekend with Mrs. Rolla Beecher at Granton.
Mrs. Olive
Bundy, after a month’s visit with her daughter, Mrs. Lew Smith, returned to her
home in Madison on Friday.
Max Neverman, the Raleigh man from Neillsville
called on the housewives of our vicinity on Wednesday.
The G.C. club held
an unusually large and happy meeting with Mrs. Ernest Lee last week Thursday.
Adelbert Gardner is home recovering from the operation.
Helen and
Leona Downer and Dora Johnson spent Sunday afternoon with Maude Smith.
Vint Lee and wife autoed over from Neillsville Sunday and were joined by Mr. and
Mrs. Erwin on a trip to Spencer, where they spent the day with relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. Lue Smith and Mrs. C.E. Stetler were callers on Ernest Lee’s on
Sunday.
Noble and Joe Downer and sons enjoyed a fishing trip on Sunday.
Florence Converse spent several days the first of the week with Mrs. Ernest
Lee at Neillsville.
