It is just as cold as ever. We hear that Montana has snow now. Well if son, we must not kick.

John Vandemelin visited at Wellie Davis’ Monday night.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer autoed to Spokeville Saturday night and took in the dance. While there, Al struck a job. The job was squeezing lemons. So anyone wanting a lemon squeezer, call on Al.

Martin Dankemyer lost a valuable cow this week.

Sherman Davis and family called at Reuben Field’s Sunday.

Harry Eide of Chili, A.F. Dankemyer and family, Fred Dankemyer and family, all took in the church picnic at Veefkind on Sunday.

Barn raisings are very numerous. Herman Dankemyer had one Friday, Geo. Lindow had one on Tuesday, Aug. Foemmel on Wednesday, Victor Krejci and Albert Lindow will be next. This means an improvement to our town. All right neighbors, keep on.

Anton Hornick and son Tony called at Fred Dankemyer’s last week one evening. The evening was spent at card playing.
