Margaret M. (20 SEP 1916 - 12 AUG 2012)
Margaret M. Lube, age 95 of
Abbotsford, died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the Continental Manor Nursing Home
in Abbotsford. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, August 17, 2012 at
the Saint Paul's Lutheran Church North Green Grove with Reverend Dr. Paul C.
Hunsicker officiating. Burial will be in Saint Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of services at the church on
Friday.
Margaret was born September 20, 1916 on the farm near Colby in
Clark County to Albert and Augusta (Borchert) Hertz. She attended Zion Lutheran
Grade School and Colby High School graduating on May 29, 1933 at the age of 16.
On February 27, 1935 Margaret was united in marriage to Herbert Arthur
Lube at Zion Lutheran Church in Colby, WI. Together they farmed in rural Colby
and after retirement she worked as a cook at the Clark County Health Care Center
in Owen.
Margaret enjoyed farming and spending time gardening. She spent
much time caring for her aunts and grandchildren as well as her late husband
during his lengthy illness. Margaret was active in the community and in the
church and was a lifelong member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Margaret is lovingly survived by her children; Kenneth (Betty) Lube
of Abbotsford, Joyce (Richard) Hamann of Curtiss, Judith ( David) Mueller of Eau
Claire and Randall (Paula) Lube of Lincoln, NE, grandchildren; Tod Lube of
Lexington, KY, Tammi (Lube) Rigney of Stamping Ground, KY, Sean Lube of KY,
Courtney (Mueller) DePippo of Glendale, AZ, Dallas Hamann of Eagan, MN, Lisa
Lube of Rice Lake, Eva Lube of Lincoln, NE, and Clay Lube of Lincoln, NE.
Great-Grandchildren; Tessa Lube of Kentucky, Krysta Lube of Kentucky, Shaylea
Ann Matton of Rice Lake and Leonardo DePippo of Glendale, AZ.
Margaret is
preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Herbert Lube, brother; Edwin Otto
Hertz, sisters; Grace Darlene (Hertz) Staffeil and Marion Hertz and an infant
son at childbirth.
In lieu of flowers a memorial can be made to Saint
Paul's Lutheran Church, North Green Grove.
