Jacque, Justina (10 MAY 1884 - 16 DEC 1962)

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Dec. 19th, 1962 at 10 o’clock a.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church for Mrs. Justina Jacque who passed away at the Havenet Rest Home at Owen, Wis., where she has been a patient for the past 8 months.

Rev. Francis Brockman officiated and burial was made at St. Bernard’s Cemetery at Thorp.

Mrs. Jacque was born Justina Wink, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Chris Wink on May 10, 1884 at St. Ann, Kiel, Wis. She came to Thorp with her parents on Sept. 2, 1908. She was married to Hance Jacque; she lived all her married life in the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

To this union 7 children were born. She is survived by one daughter, (Lucy) Mrs. LeRoy Brenner, two sons, Anton and Bernard, all of Thorp, her husband, two sons, and two daughters. Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, one brother, Albert Wink of Thorp.

Mrs. Jacque was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Bernard’s.

Relatives and friends who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Mike Monlock of Milwaukee, John Jacque, Mrs. Bob Bobender of Port Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jacque of Fredonia, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Quelle of Greenwood, and Mrs. Bob Huff of Mandan, N.D.

Pallbearers were George Schmidt, John Badzinski, Joe Grajkowski, Rueben Rossman, Ed Ramberg, Ed Michur.
