Konieczny, Pauline (15 MAR 1886 - 20 DEC
1962)
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel in the city of
Thorp Dec. 28th at ten a.m. for Mrs. Pauline Konieczny, 76, who died at Victory
Memorial Hospital at Stanley, Wis., from injuries sustained in a car accident on
Dec. 20th, 1962. Father Edward Masalewicz officiated.
Mrs. Konieczny was
with her husband in their car when they were hit by a Demming truck driven by
A.E. Itzen of Marshfield, when they made a turnout of the Farmers Coop driveway
onto Highway 29 in the city Dec. 20th.
Pauline Czernicki, daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. Anton Czernicki, was born in Poland on March 15, 1886. She
came to America in 1904 and resided in Milwaukee where she was united in
marriage to Paul Konieczny in 1908. The lived there until 1921 when she and her
husband came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) and located on a farm in the township of
Withee. She and Mr. Konieczny retired from the farm sixteen years ago and built
a home in the city of Thorp where she had since resided.
She is survived
by her husband, Paul Konieczny.
Interment took place in St. Hedwig’s
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ignatz Przybylski, Casimer Deniskiewicz, William
Tobola, Chester Zajaczkowski, Val Wyczawski and Frank Lesniewski.
