Peleschak, Ambrose (4 JUL 1880 - 16 JAN 1963)
Ambrose
Peleschak of the village of Lublin died at the Medford Hospital of a ehart
attack on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1963 at the age of 82.
Born in Sanok,
Austria on July 4, 1880, he came to America in 1905 and was united in marriage
to Julia Sweda at Donora, Pa. in 1906. Twelve children were born to them. He is
survived by his wife Julia and eight children. These include three sons, Mat of
Chicago, Mike of Hammond, Ind., and Nick of Thorp, five daughters Ann Wozniak of
Chicago, Ella Skapyak of Clear Lake, Wis., Mary Zielinski of Chicago, Irene
Jasinski of Lublin, and Katherine Piwoni of Gilman, and one son-in-law, Stanley
Gasiorowski of Chicago, 22 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Funeral
services were held on Monday, Jan. 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Assumption
Russian Orthodox Church at Lublin. Rev. I. Jurich of St. Paul officiated.
Pallbearers were 4 grandsons, Carl Gasiorowski, Bill Skapyak, Marvin Piwoni
Jr. and Gary Wozniak, and two newphes, Joe and Steve Sweda.
