Sharon Gail Fischer of Unity became the bride of Richard Dale Oestreich Saturday, October 15, at Trinity Lutrheran Church in Unity. The Rev. R. V. Langsett officiated at the ceremony which united the daughter of Mrs. Betty Fischer of Unity and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Oestreich of Loyal. Matron of honor was Mrs. Don Oestreich, the groom’s sister-in-law and the bridesmaids were Darlene Gage, Diana Walter and Penny Fischer, the bride’s sister was junior bridesmaid. They were seen in dresses of chiffon over taffeta and carroed bouquets of yellow and white roses.

The bride chose a gown of chiffon over taffeta with re-embroidered lace. Her silk illusion finger veil was held to a crown of seed pearls and she carried a white orchid surrounded by roses.

The groom’s brother, Don Oestreich was his best man and groomsmen were Rodney Fischer and Douglas Fischer. Ushers were Robert Oestreich and Roy Sook.

The young couple will live on a farm near Loyal after their honeymoon through Niagria Falls, New York.
