Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hemp
visited Sunday evening with Aug. Wegner and wife in Pine Valley.
Emma
Kunkel went to Green Lake Thursday to work this summer.
Mr. and Mrs.
Ernest Henning of Christie visited Sunday at the Aug. Worchel home.
Nick
Anders of Beloit ahs purchased the personal property that belonged to the late
John Prock and has also rented the farm.
Mrs. Oswald Pischer and little
daughter were over from Grant Sunday. Elsie Mallig returned with them to spend a
few days.
Francis, the little son of Mrs. Clara Prock, is ill with
scarlet fever. Mrs. Fred Bruley of Neillsville is helping to take care of him.
The Ed Schwellenbach and L. Kalsow families, and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mosher
picnicked near Wedges Creek on Sunday.
Emily Parisius returned Friday
from Hamburg for a brief vacation before taking another school.
Carl
Radtke and wife brought Ella Dudei home Sunday and Hulda Dudei returned with the
Radtke’s to spend a few days.
Mrs. O. fuller of Greenwood spent a few
days last week with her sister, Mrs. L. Prock.
Robert Schlinkert and wife
and little son spent Sunday with his brother Will and family near Neillsville.
The young people’s society presented Rev. Parisius with a lawn mower, with
which to mow the cemetery.
Linus Prock and family were at Greenwood on
Sunday.
Frank Thoma, ben Dudei and John Poppe attended the dance at Tioga
Hall Friday evening.
Irene Hawley of Greenwood is sewing for Mrs. W.B.
Thoma and Mrs. Joe Schwellenbach this week.
Marcella Neis’ birthday was
celebrated with a dancing party in Prock’s Hall Monday evening.
Fred
Glasow had a barn raising bee Tuesday.
