A crowd of about 50 friends and neighbors dropped in on Anton Hornick Saturday night and gave Mrs. Hornick a party on her birthday. The dancing took place across the way at the Henry Witt granary, where they had plenty of room and a good floor. At midnight a lunch was served and about 3 o’clock they all departed for their home, wishing Mrs. Hornick many more happy birthdays.

Ed Witt came down from the town of Eaton near Greenwood to attend the party of the Hornick’s and visited relatives and friends.

Dr. Reibunerg, a veterinary of Marshfield, was called out to John Van Domelin’s to care for a sick cow.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Spielberg and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer visited at Chas. Mundt’s Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. John Hefty were callers at Wellie Davis’ Sunday.

Mrs. Ketel, who has been here on business for some time, left for the west Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Doll were callers at Albert Chrsitenson’s Friday evening.

Thursday of last week Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer and Jennie Eibergen autoed to Neillsville where Mrs. and her sister Jennie had their eyes treated.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christenson autoed to Spencer to see Mr. and Mrs. Witham’s new home and make them a visit on Sunday.

Wella Davis and Albert Dankemyer and family autoed to Neillsville Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Davis, who have been to Loyal visiting for some time, came home Tuesday.
