News is
a scarce article nowadays; not much doing.
George Lindow had a barn
raising Tuesday. August Foemmel had one Wednesday; Jim Baker on Thursday and
Albert Lindow on Monday. Our community is improving quite fast.
Bernice
Downer came home from Ladysmith Sunday morning.
Mrs. E.A. Happe is
helping Mrs. Albert Lindow with her work this week while she has carpenters.
Mr. and Mrs. George Lindow, Mr. and Mrs. Bosselman, Mr. and Mrs. Dick
Downer, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Happe were callers at Chili Saturday evening.
It will soon rain again. They were dragging roads Tuesday. This is a sure
sign.
Ure Brothers moved their saw rig on C.A. Happeās place and are
going to saw longs for him for his barn.
