Dear Mr. Neuenfeldt:
Just a line to let you know of my
change in address. Please send my paper to the above address now.
It
certainly felt good to get back here in this 60 degree weather again after being
called back from my furlough in Wisconsin where it was 8 degrees below zero the
day I left.
I certainly wish I could have visited with my friends up home
longer, but when duty calls, on must go. Everyone down here is anxious to do his
utmost and the civilian population of all the places I stopped is on the way
down have the same ambition.
One can be thankful for living in and
defending the good old U.S.A., where everyone is willing to help preserved the
freedom that only this nation has.
May we forever have that freedom.
