Miss Herrmann from Symco is spending a few days here at the Ed Ackerman home to
visit her friend Ben Doede.
Miss Alice Hatch is keeping house for the
Messrs. Pat and Avery Cranston.
Truman Davis and wife and Mr. and Mrs.
John Breese spent Sunday afternoon with the latter’s step-brother, John Sweet,
who has been confined to his bed for the past two months.
Herman Roehl
and family spent Sunday with pa and ma Ackerman.
Mr. and Mrs. C.G. Hayden
visited their daughter Mrs. Sam Martin at Osseo and stopped enroute home for a
visit at their son Louis’ in Merrillan.
Ruth Pietenpol spent Sunday
afternoon with Birdine Kihn.
Pat Cranston autoed to Richland County on a
several days visit.
Ruth, Frederick and Josephine Pietenpol were on the
sick list Monday.
Wm. Lazotte is working for Avery Cranston.
Frank
Lavey and family, together with Mrs. Emma Bolton, spent Sunday evening at Ed
Ackerman’s.
Fred Foemmel sports a new Ford, also Myron Osgood.
Dale Lee is expected home this week from the Eau Claire hospital.
Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Davis were Sunday evening guests at S.R. Davis’.
Hale Davis
installed a sanitary closet in the John Pietenpol home the first of the week.
Glenn Lavey accompanied his sister, Mrs. Geo. Williams, home to Chili Sunday
to spend several days.
Frank and Harry Davis, with their wives, called at
John Pietenpol’s Sunday afternoon.
Lucile Davis spent Saturday night with
Marjorie Pietenpol and Josephine Pietenpol spent Saturday night with Lila Davis.
Emil Krause is building a new garage for his brother-in-law, Freeman
Dankemyer.
Frank Krejci had woo sawyers Saturday and Truman Davis the
week before.
John Hefty has a bee Tuesday and put up his hay shed, which
the wind blew down a couple of years ago.
John Dahl and Truman Davis
traded Duroc Jersey pigs last Saturday.
Mr. Selk from Chili came out
Monday to set u[ a side delivery rake for Truman Davis, which he had the week
before bought of Harry Eide.
Wm. Foemmel bought 40 acres of land from
John hefty one day last week.
