Beulah Erwin is seriously ill, threatened with pneumonia.
Mr. and Mrs.
Henry Williams were Sunday visitors at Lue Smith’s.
Clay Converse is now
on the line. The telephone man installed a phone for him on Monday.
Mr.
Walter Nott and family of Packwaukee stopped over Sunday at Lue Smith’s on their
way home from Chippewa Falls. They report the roads everywhere in fine condition
for autos.
Mrs. Francis McHone was taken suddenly ill Friday, but is on
the gain now. Her sister, Mrs. Grant Johnson, is caring for her at and her home.
Miss Elsie Kempin attended the picnic of about thirty young people at
Granton Sunday.
Maude Smith and Dora Johnson spent Sunday afternoon with
the Downer girls.
Herman Krueger came back from his visit with home folks
at Marion on Monday.
Vint Lee and better half were visitors at his
brother Ara’s on Sunday.
