Fenske and others autoed in Charley’s car to Pittsville to fish. All had a good
time and all caught a fish but one. Which one?
Most all are commencing
haying. Fine weather today (Wednesday) for clover.
Will Lindow is grading
around our schoolhouse.
Chas. Lindow is taking his vacation and Herbert
McNaul is sub.
John Sweet is very sick at this writing.
A neighbor
picnic was held over at West Branch the Fourth and another party was held at
Will Yonkie’s the Fourth.
Fred Hill and family, with Mrs. J. Davis,
autoed to Tioga last Sunday.
Mell Blake and wife of Spencer drove down
and visited relatives at Nasonville and Chili over Sunday.
The Watkins
man was around here Monday.
Mrs. Emma Brooks called on Mrs. Oatman last
Sunday.
Mrs. Dow and Mable, with Gust Kaddatz and wife, called on Mrs.
Martha Sweet last Sunday p.m.

Mrs. J.P. Dawes
of Strong Prairie has been visiting at Laona and Marshfield, came out here for a
few days visit. Mrs. Dow and Mable came back home also.
Mrs. Russell
Greene returned home and brought her sister with her for a visit.
Sam
Greene has been laid up with rheumatism lately. He had a *barn raising Monday.
Although he was sick and unable to help, a crowd of men raised it anyway.
A large crowd attended school meeting Monday night and they will have a
special meeting July 5th at 7 p.m. for special business.
Fred Hill and
family, Clarence Wilcox and family autoed to Greenwood last Sunday to visit
relatives.
Mrs. Mae Tucker returned home last Friday to Shawano after a
week’s visit here.
