Grandma
Hantke is quite under the weather the past 10 days at the home of her son Otto.
Alvin Eisentraut is on the sick list.
Miss Margaret Breed is visiting
at Otto Hantke’s since last Friday.
Miss Laona Kurth of Neillsville spent
most of last week with her relatives on the Ridge.
Dan Hughes went to
Menomonie on business Thursday and returned home on Saturday.
Mrs.
Clemens Kuechenmeister entertained the Larkin Club Wednesday.
Robert
Kurth and family, with Ernest Myer of Hixton, John Goebel and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister, Mr. and Mrs. John Hick autoed to Hatfield and
enjoyed a day’s fishing and outing on Sunday. A “fishy” bunch that may develop
scales yet, eh?
O.E. Counsell has new milk cows which he purchased at
Osseo at week ago.
Lon Huckstead went to Milwaukee Sunday.
Leonard
Faas has 2 fine new cows bought of O.E. Counsell.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo.
Huckstead of Marshfield spent Sunday here with relatives.
Mrs. Mary
Blackman is recovering nicely and enjoyed the 4th at the H.O. Huckstead home.
Mrs. Elizabeth Hills of Pella, Iowa, is her on an extended visit at H.O.
Huckstead’s.
