Herman Portz
painted his barn last week.
Walter Fischer has his barn nearly finished.
John Lindow purchased a new hay loader and side delivery rake of Harry Eide.
Almost twenty-five young people gathered at the home of John Lindow and gave
Emil Luckow a surprise on his twenty-first birthday.
Sam Lindow returned
to Freeport, Ill., where he has been taking treatment for the last year and two
months.
John Lindow cut a blood vessel on his hand while building a wall
under a granary. The doctor had to take three stitches.
Picking and
canning strawberries is the order of the day.
The Y.P.A. of the
Evangelical Church will give a meeting Sunday evening; leader, Luther Lindow;
Topic: “God our Helper;” Scripture reading, Psalm 121: 1-8; Special numbers:
Recitation by Milo Lindow; Reading by Walter Lindow; Object Lesson by Willie
Happe. Everybody is invited.
Mr. and Mrs. John Lindow and son Roy spent
Sunday evening at Emil Lindow’s.
