Leon O’Brien has a runaway Monday when the king bolt of his buggy broke and the horse was hurt by one of the thills piercing its side. Prompt medical attention, which was had, may save the animal’s life.

Mrs. Estelle Mortimer and Mrs. E.G. Rowe are visiting at Glenwood since Tuesday.

Geo. Mortimer has a new Dodge touring car.

School District No. 1 voted to build a new schoolhouse on the present site. R.A. Zickert was elected director.
