Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Blake spent Tuesday with friends at Marshfield.

Mrs. Edw. Grobe of Wausau is visiting at Rev. Reiff’s since Monday.

The Circle will meet with Mrs. Floyd Winn next Wednesday.

Mrs. Beth Squires came home from Marshfield Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Bergeman went to Neillsville Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. James Baker went to New Lisbon Wednesday.

Mrs. Ed Riedel was a Neillsville visitor on Saturday.

The Lynn Telephone Co. officials had a business session here last Saturday.

Lloyd Spry was a Neillsville visitor on Monday.

Harold Hiles went to Eau Claire on business on Monday.

Edwin Haltaufderheide came home from Waupaca on Sunday.

Alfred Anding and Huber Witte were Neillsville visitors on Saturday.

Loren Hales spent Monday with his wife at the Marshfield Hospital.

Helmuth Beyer was a county seat visitor on Friday.

Mrs. Frank Downer spent Saturday with friends at Marshfield.

Rev. W.J. Thorne of New York was a weekend guest in the home of Loyal Jordan.

The Misses Anna and Lovilla Sternitzky of Lynn spent Saturday with friends at Marshfield.

Miss Louise Krause came home from a 2 week visit at the Freeman Dankemyer home in Chili on Saturday.

Arthur Hubing was at Marshfield Monday.

Mrs. Mary Patno left for Los Angeles, Calif. yesterday to make an extended visit with her oldest son, Chas. Patno.

Mrs. Frank Davis and Mrs. Baer, on a combination business and pleasure trip, autoed out to Nasonville on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schoengarth and daughters Marion and Dorothea went to Neillsville Sunday on a visit to relatives.

Mat Maretna and and daughter Miss Celia of Iowa spent several days of last week here with relatives in the John Bladl home.

Mrs. A. Montgomery, with Miss Edna Phipps, spent last Friday visiting Mrs. Loren Hales, Mrs. Fred Daniels and others at the Marshfield Hospital.

L.H. Sires of Altoon joined his family here last week Tuesday and visited at the Theo. Breseman home until Friday.

Mrs. Edward Dittman and little son Herman came over from Neillsville last Friday and visited at Fred Schlinsog’s until Monday.

Mrs. C.E. McKeand of Chicago is here since Sunday visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Schlinsog, on Route 3.

Miss Grace Lodghnan of Black River Falls, after a several weeks visit here with Mrs. Roscoe Galbreath, went home on Tuesday.

Miss Catherine Bladl, Mrs. Walter Coil and daughter Althea visited at Chili yesterday.

Fred Daniels went to Marshfield yesterday to spend the day with his wife at the hospital.

Little Beulah Erwin was alarmingly ill early this week and threatened with pneumonia, although quite O.K. now.

Myron Osgood has a new Ford roadster since Saturday.

Emil Hintz and Wm. Berneck of Eau Claire County came Friday and visited at Fred Zille’s until Monday.

Clark Brooks, Roland Washburn and the Misses Elda and Irene Viergutz autoed to Yellow River and enjoyed a picnic dinner and outing there on Sunday.

Miss Emma Berger, who is working as an attendant in the Wood Co. Asylum east of Marshfield, came over Saturday on a visit to relatives in the Gus Bergeman family.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Keller and their 4 children of St. Paul, who were visiting his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. J.L. Keller in Lynn, left on the return trip Monday.

Mrs. R. Field s and baby Doris of Butte, Mont., after a 2 week visit with the Ralph hatch family, left for Isabelle, S.D. on Monday, where they will visit other relatives.

Mrs. Weeks, her son Edward and daughter Miss Florence are here from Chicago since Monday visiting relatives in the Aug. Dufrane family on Route 4 in the town of Sherwood.

Miss Nellie Lockman, after a visit with relatives here, returned to Chicago on Saturday.

Miss Amanda Schroeder of Neillsville spent Sunday here with her friend, Miss Florence Davis.

Mrs. Leroy Pierce of Neillsville spent several days of this week here with Mrs. Eva Canfield.

Mrs. Paulson and Miss Johnson, who were visiting at D.S. Rausch’s, went home to Nasonville on Saturday.

Miss Emma Hahm went to Neillsville Tuesday and spent a couple of days with relatives.

Miss Esther True of Hatfield, after a several days visit at E.A. Beeckler’s, went home Friday.

Mrs. John Vandeberg and daughter Ruth came home from a 3 day visit at Marshfield on Friday.

Amos Braman of the town of Levis spent several days of last week here among old friends.

Miss Ella Brown of (?) is visiting the Braatz families since last week Tuesday.

Ida Garbush, after a 2 weeks visit at her uncle Robert Garbush’s, went home to Wausau on Monday.

Miss Ottilie Wiesner spent Sunday here with home folk and returned to Marshfield the next day.

Mrs. Alex Manthey and Mrs. Fred Willman of Medford are visiting at Melchior Hosely’s since Saturday.

Otto Garbush returned to his work for the Roddis Co. at Park Falls on Sunday.

H.L. Bender arrived home on Sunday after a several weeks visit in Richland County.

Mrs. R.B. Johnson of Sevens Point came Monday and spent several days with relatives in Mrs. Mary Marsh’s home and at Sid Davis’.

Mrs. Harry Bennett and two children of Manchester, N.Y., are visiting relatives in the Fred Hart home since Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Hart of Edgar were guests at Fred Hart’s Sunday, enroute to their home from a visit at Humbird.

The J.B. club will give an ice creams social on the Frank Davis lawn tomorrow, Saturday evening. Everybody is invited.

Earl Marsh came home from Detroit, Mich. Tuesday on a few days furlough and left for Duluth yesterday. He will join hi regiment and be in active service tomorrow.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hayden went to Osseo last week Thursday and on the return trip visited at Merrillan, returning here on Monday.

Miss Lena Martens, with her brother Willie and their sister Mrs. John Tuchere, all of Chili, visited at John Bladl’s Friday.

Mrs. G.A. Ziemendorf of Chippewa Falls is her since last week Tuesday visiting her sister, Mrs. H.H. Rose.

Mr. and Mrs. O.A. Roscoe came up from Merrillan last week Tuesday and spent a couple of days with the W.S. Davis family.

Master Paul George Adolph Schlinsog is the name of the little five week old son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Schlinsog, and to the proud parents and grandparents, the most important member of the household.

Mrs. Otto Gruenke and her 4 children returned home from a 10 day visit at Clintonville on Monday. They were in attendance at her sister’s wedding there two weeks ago.

Clarence Strand of Iola, after a several days visit here, a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. King, left for Adams Friday. It is quite probably that he will teach at Adams this year.

Darvin Miller, a private in Co. M. of the 3rd Minnesota Regt., stationed at Ft. Snelling, on a furlough visited his sister, Mrs. R.O. Hales of the town of Loyal several days last week and left on Saturday for his home in Ocheyedan, Iowa.

Mrs. N.E. Crandall of Neillsville was over Sunday, a gust of her son Eugene and his family.

Carl Moh returned to Marshfield where he is engaged at mason work, Monday.

Herman Schlinsog, Frank X. Smith and Adolph Schlinsog were county seat visitors on Monday.

Mrs. Hickox visited her parents at Neillsville during Mr. Hickox’s absence the first of the week.

w.S. Davis and Orren Hickox left for Ft. Atkinson on a stock buying trip of several days, Monday.

Miss Margaret Thiede arrived home last Friday from Pennsylvania, where she taught school last year.

The Fred Schlinsog family, with their guests, enjoyed the barn dance at Carl Beilke’s Saturday night.

Wilson Mallory went to Unity and Stevens Point on business between Friday and Monday.

Morrill McClaflin, after a visit at Rice Davis’, went home to Arpin on Friday.

Fred Daniels went to Marshfield Friday and spent the day with his wife at the hospital.

Mrs. Margareth Hubing of Athens, who was down on a visit to her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Beaver, left on the return trip on Saturday.

Miss Bessie Davis of Lodi, after a week’s visit her with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. King and other friends, left on the return trip on Monday.

Mrs. Aug. Nickel and her daughter Mrs. Dan Palmer, with baby (?) Palmer, arrived home from Lake Mills on Saturday.

Miss Lottie Albright of Chili has accepted a clerkship at the P.J. Kemmeter store and entered upon her duties there Monday morning. She maker her home with Mrs. Stevens while here.

Thode Davis, with his daughter-in-law Mrs. Romanzo Davis, are here from Tacoma, Wash. visiting relatives since Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. W.G. McHenry and daughter Myrtle are here from Milwaukee visiting the W.J. Davis family since Wednesday.

Chas. Neinas, H.E. Williams, P.J. Kemmeter, W.S. Davis and C.E. Brooks went to Eau Claire on business Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Davis returned home to Chili Saturday after a several days visit here with friends.

Mrs. Walter Schlinsog visited her mother at the Marshfield Hospital Tuesday.

Miss Birdine Kihn went to Park Falls Tuesday to spend the balance of her vacation with her parents.

Mrs. John Rausch went to Marshfield Tuesday on a visit with old friends.

Mrs. A.W. Hales and little granddaughter Verna Hales spent yesterday at Marshfield with Mrs. Loren Hales at the hospital there.

Mike Billy on Route 4 left for the Drs. Mayo hospital at Rochester, Minn., Friday, expecting to take treatments for the betterment of his health.

John Furlong of Chicago, after a several weeks visit at the Albert Bentz home, left for his childhood home at Marion, Ill. last week Thursday, while Mrs. Furlong remained until this week Wednesday before going home to Chicago.

Chas. Lowe and son Chas. Lowe Jr. joined Mrs. Lowe and Beatrice here at the Emil Lockman home last week Tuesday and while Mr. Lowe returned home to Duluth directly after the Fourth, Chas. Jr. remained until Saturday.

Mrs. Mary Garbush and sons Theodore and Edward came down from Wausau last week Thursday for a visit with the Robert Garbush family and with relatives at Tioga.

John Jaborek, the Hungarian who was so seriously hurt in a runaway accident near the L.E. Moh farm a few weeks since, is home from the Marshfield hospital since Sunday, apparently little the worse for his experience.
