officiated at a requiem High Mass Monday morning at 10 o’clock for Mrs. Edward
Searvogel, 59, of 2211 South Maple Street, Marshfield, who died Thursday at
11:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield. She had been in ill health
for a year and a half. A rosary service was said for her Sunday evening at the
Myre Funeral Home.
Pallbearers for Mrs. Searvogel were all nephews,
Richard Beaver, Edwin Degenhardt, James Degenhardt, Rodney Kennow, Melvin
Klimmer and Ronald Beaver.
Nellie Ryan was born March 2, 1901 at Randolph
in Dodge County and received her education at Randolph schools. June 18, 1930
she became married to Edward Searvogel at St, Anthony’s Catholic Church in
Loyal.
In 1918 she moved to Loyal with her parents and has lived in this
area until four years ago when they moved to Marshfield. There she was a member
or Sacred Heart Catholic Church and of the Altar Society.
Mrs. Searvogel
is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Jane Kayhart, Milwaukee; a
granddaughter, Gail; six sisters, Mrs. Anton (Grace) Klimmer, Loyal; Mrs. Art
(Margaret) Searvogel, Randolph; Mrs. Bernard (Rosetta0 Beaver, Marshfield; Mrs.
Henry( LaVerne) Degenhaddt, Loyal; Gladys Ryan, Loyal; Mrs. Wilder (Isabel)
Kennow, Marshfield; and five brothers, James Ryan, Randolph; Charles Ryan,
Wauconda, Illinois; William Ryan, Cudahy; Henry Ryan and Lawrence Ryan of Loyal.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
