Large, Ruth L. (9 MAR 1904 - 27 MAY 1963)

Mrs. Ruth Louise Large, 58, Rt. 2, Black Hawk Island, died in Fort Atkinson Hospital after 3 p.m. Monday, May 27, 1963, shortly after being admitted.

The former Ruth Lewin was born in Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis., March 9, 1904. She was married to Willard Parmenter. In Aug. 1949 she was married to John Large, Janesville.

Surviving are a son, LaVern Parmenter, with whom she lived; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Knox, Milton, and Mrs. Frank Dennee, Everett, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; two brothers, Arthur Lewin of Thorp and Herbert Lewin, Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Winnie Christorf, Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Ada Vetterkind, Thorp, and Mrs. Esther Fredricks, Withee.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Royal F. Haves Funeral Home, the Rev. Arthur Malin officiating. Burial was in Lakeview Cemetery.
