Haying is the order of the day just now, when it is not
raining.
Everybody had a good time the 4th, each in his or her own way.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. M. Redman of Birchwood Farm entertained with a lawn party that
day and among those present were Mr. and Mrs. D. Ruggles and children of
Baraboo, Mr. and Mrs. Metcher and children of Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mayhew and
Mrs. Pearl Blanchard of Fond du Lac, Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Boller and son Blanchard
of Start Corner and Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Davis of Lindsey.
Mr. and Mrs. John
Vogell motored to Marshfield last Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schwanebeck
entertained at Sunday dinner, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Redman and son William of
Birchwood Farm, Mr. and Mrs. D. Ruggles of Baraboo, Mr. and Mrs. Max
Schwanebeck, Mr. and Mrs. John Flugel, Mr. and Mrs. Voigt and Mr. Walter George.
Mr. and Mrs. Voigt are new comers to our town. Welcome.
Mr. and Mrs.
Wittcamp entertained the Ladies Aid on the 4th.
Mr. Geo. Burdick bought a
new horse from R. Paulson.
Mr. Fred Grant of Chicago visited Mr. and Mrs.
Geo. Redman last week.
Several newcomers moved into Sherwood this spring.
There is talk of another cheese factory in our town. Good luck.
Mr. and
Mrs. John Vogell visited at Geo. M. Redman’s Sunday.
Mrs. Geo. Redman
went to Neillsville Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schultz of Nasonville
visited Mr. and Mrs. A. Gall Sunday.
