Over one hundred relatives and friends gathered to honor Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Breen, Sr., Route 3, Stanley, Wis. on their Golden Wedding
Anniversary, Saturday, June 1, 1963, at their home.
Mrs. Brenner chose
for the day, a dress of permanently pleated jersey, a yellow and green print on
a white background with an orchid corsage. Mr. Brenner’s boutonniere was a
yellow rose. The tables were decorated with bouquets of yellow roses and
carnations with gold foliage and gold tapers. The honored couple received many
gifts and many gifts of money. A niece, Mrs. Roy Crosby, served the large tiered
wedding cake and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Walter Brenner Jr., poured coffee. A
dinner for immediate family was served at noon at the Axel Anderson home, with
places for forty-three. Other neighbors helping to serve with Mrs. Anderson
were: Mrs. Robert Rasmussen, Mrs. Leonard Soeller and Mrs. Harry Smith.

addition to farming, Mr. Brenner is chairman of the town of Thorp, having been
