Eveline (18 Aug 1916-12 Aug 2012)
Eveline E. Fravert, 95, Loyal, went to
her eternal rest on Sunday, Aug. 12, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center,
Neillsville, after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on
Thursday, Aug, 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal. Rev. Daniel Zimmerman will
officiate. Burial will follow in the Lutheran Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her
great-grandchildren, Skyler Domine, Michael Weyer, C. J. Mavis, Kesler Schuette,
Tyler Fravert, Bo Fravert and Derek Fravert. Visitation will be held at Trinity
Lutheran Church, on Thursday, from 9 a.m. until time of service.
Eveline
Emma Stange was born on Aug. 18, 1916 in Loyal, the daughter of Louis and Martha
(nee Wolfe) Stange. She was raised on the family farm and received her education
in the Loyal area, graduating from Loyal High School in 1934. Eveline married
Alvin J. Fravert at Trinity Lutheran Church, in Loyal, on June 24, 1936. They
farmed on her parents’ farm until 1947 and then moved into Loyal. They both
worked on their son Dale’s bar, Fravert’s Place, dor more than six years, and
also were caretakers of the Loyal Cemetery for several years. Eveline resided at
her home in Loyal until July 2012. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church,
the Clark County Homemakers and the Granton Senior Citizens. She had many
talents, including gardening, flowers and canning. She was a great cook and
loved to talk about the past. She took pride in making baby quilts, more than
125 in all, which she embroidered for every grandchild, great-grandchild and
great-great-grandchild.. plus many for friends and gifts. Eveline also kept a
diary since she was 19 years old, of all the local events , happenings,
birthdays, deaths, ect.
Mom, you will be so missed. You made an impact in
so many lives. We all love you! Thank you to St. Joseph’s Hospital and Memorial
Medical Center for your wonderful care during Mom’s final days.
She will
be dearly missed by her children, Dale (Angie) Fravert, Loyal, Marlin (Barbara)
Fravert, Fort Worth, Texas, Dennis (Sue) Fravert, Loyal, and Karen (Ken)
Boehnen, Spencer; 11 grandchildren, Cindy (Paul) Weyer, Vicki (Brian) Schreiner,
Scott (Rhonda) Fravert, Randy Fravert, Lisa (Scott) Wilson, Annette (Dave)
Mavis, and Kelly (Ben)Boehnen; 27 great-grandchildren, Michael, Michele, Cierra,
Kesler, Hannah, Alexis, Derek, Desiee, Bowden, Zach, Cooper, Nick, C. J. (Lena),
Ashley (Dustin), Christopher, Tyler, Tressa, David, Sabrina, Rebecca, Kayden,
Skyler, Dakota, Macey, Easton, Koehler and Tammy; two great-great-grandchildren,
Grayson and Preston; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin, on Dec. 7,
1999; and one brother, Clarence Stange.
