Stephanie K. Matter, 35, Lake Geneva, passed away on May 29, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Milwaukee. A private celebration of life memorial service was held on Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at Forrest Hill Cemetery, Greenwood.

Stephanie Matter was born on Aug. 20, 1976, to Thomas and Jeanne (nee Braun) Matter of Sheboygan Falls. She graduated from high school in 1994 and furthered her education in landscaping. She was a certified landscape designer and received a prestigious award for her design on Extreme Home Makeover. Her love of nature, plants and animals were evident in her design.

She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, including her mother, Jeanne (Braun) Matter, Sheboygan Falls; her brother, Christopher (Shelby) Matter, Sheboygan; her sisters, Kimberly (Marcus) Shave, Kohler; and Lindsay Matter, Sheboygan; her grandparents, Alice Braun, Greenwood, and Delores Matter, Marshfield; a niece, Loren Schave; two nephews, Clayton Schave and Gavin Matter; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Matter; and her grandfathers, Clayton Braun and Walter Matter.
