Eisberner, Theresa (16 NOV 1936 - 19 MAR 2012)
Theresa
Ellen Eisberner, “Tressa,” 75, of Humbird, joined our heavenly father on Monday,
March 19, 2012. Death occurred in her home surrounded by her loving family and
under the care of Black River Memorial Hospital Hospice.
Theresa was a
loving servant of the Lord, her family and the community. Theresa was born on
Nov. 16, 1936 in Mentor Township to William and Violetta (Fitzmaurice) O’Leary.
She was united in marriage to Donald L. Eisberner on Feb. 1, 1954, and
together they raised 7 children in rural Humbird. Donald preceded her in death
in April 1982. She then spent the remaining years with her loving partner Fred
“Frick” Theiler. Theresa worked many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at
Sunset Nursing Home in Fairchild, WI., and Black River Memorial Hospital until
1986, when she purchased the Hotel Bar & Grill in Humbird. Tress and Frick ran
the business until retiring in 2000.
Tressa loved the beauty of nature,
she loved rides in the countryside, flowers, birds, kit kat candy bars, her
children, grandchildren and the Green Bay Packers. She was a member of the
American Legion Auxiliary Melcher/Matti Post # 320 and played Mrs. Santa Claus
for many years for area children. She was a past member of the Jackson County
Tavern League, the Fairchild Lioness Club, the Saint Joseph’s Alter Society and
the Fairview Homemaker’s Club.
Theresa is survived by her partner, Frick
of Humbird; her sister, Geraldine (Harold) Delap of Merrillan, WI; 2 sons,
Marcus (Cathy) Eisberner of Seattle, WA, Lucas Eisberner of LaCrosse, WI; 3
daughters, Sarah Eisberner (Rocky Walton) of Alma Center, WI, Kathleen (Henry)
Harasimowicz and Christina (Terry) Collins of Humbird, WI; 22 grandchildren, 22
great grandchildren and numerous family members and friends. She was preceded in
death by her husband, Donald, daughter, D’Ann Kaufman Sullivan, son, Jonathan
Eisberner, and siblings, Lewis, Patrick and Clara.
Funeral services will be
held Sat. March 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Augusta,
with Pastor Pat Trotter officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 a.m.
until time of services at the funeral home.

request memorials to Black River Memorial Hospital Hospice, Black River Falls or
Donald L. Eisberner Memorial Scholarship at N4181 Stuve Rd. Humbird, WI 54746.
