Mr. Hill, sister and son returned to Beloit last Sunday.
Miss Mabel
Dow left Saturday for Strong’s Prairie to attend a funeral held Sunday for an
old friend, a Mrs. Hammond.
Mr. Christenson is drilling a well for Paul
Beil.
Mrs. Oatman and Cecil Tarbox visited at John Rollin’s of Heathville
Tuesday.
Paul Bealer’s new house is getting along beautifully.
The
creek around Cedarhurst is quite an attraction since the rain. Last Sunday a
flock of boys were bathing and all at once they ran and got on a lot of box cars
left on the side track. They were in such a hurry they forgot to dress. They may
have thought I cute to make a free show of themselves, but others failed to see
it that way.
