Andrew Ley and family autoed to Pittsville on Sunday.

The drafting took place last Friday. Those of this vicinity who were drafted are not yet known. For starters, the boys say, they will let us know, so who should worry.

Haying is the latest now. Well, we think if the weatherman does not help it will still be later.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer visited at Wellie Davis’ last Sunday.

Mrs. Joe Dall returned home from Platteville, Wis. last Friday where she had been to attend the funeral of her mother.

Jennie Eibergen visited at Neillsville a few days last week.

Willie Dankemyer made a short visit at home on Monday.

Mrs. John Van Domlin and mother are visiting at Stanley this week.

Tony Hartwick was at Granton on business on Tuesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer were callers at Albert Christenson’s Tuesday evening.
