Nicpon, Anna J. (28 AUG 1886 - 25 JUN 1963)
Funeral services were held Friday, June 28 at St. Stanislaus Church, Lublin
for Anna V. Nicpon, 77, who passed away in the town of Roosevelt (Taylor Co.,
Wis.), June 25, 1963, of heart failure. Rev. Edward Cyz officiated at the
services and burial was in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
Pallbearers were:
Steve Hevier, Edward Budrus, Ted Popowski, Raymond Popowski, Edmund Liszewski
and John Slomka, all Knights of Columbus - Queen of Peace Council.
Mrs.
Nicpon was born Aug. 28, 1886 in Przeczyca, Poland. She came to America in 1904,
residing in Chicago and Whiting, Ind. until 1917, when they moved to Lublin. On
Jan. 28, 1907 she was united in marriage to Karl Nicpon at Chicago.
Surviving are four sons, John and Frank of Chicago, Stanley of Lublin, Joe of
Withee; one daughter, Sophie Malek of Chicago, 19 grandchildren and 5
great-grandchildren.
Out of town relatives and friends attending were:
Peter Nicpon, Andre Nicpon and family of Flint, Mich., John Garbewski, Mr. and
Mrs. Vacci Peluski and Mrs. J. Parys, all of Chicago. All children and 10
grandchildren were present.
