A party was given at the Wm. Mitte home Friday evening
in honor of Mrs. Mitte’s niece, Esther George.
W.A. Schlinsog and family
and Paul Hessel of Greenwood were here for the church picnic Sunday.
The
Clark Co. Butter and Cheese Co. have a whey separator now.
Linus Prock
gives a dance at his hall this Friday evening. Music will be by Crandall’s
Orchestra of Granton.
Irene Hawley of Greenwood sewed for Mrs. Ferdinand
Grap last week.
Frank Dux and family of Loyal attended the Mission Fest
here Sunday.
Ehtel, Marie and Florence Thoma spent last week at the W.C.
Thoma home.
Ben Dudei was given a pleasant surprise Sunday evening in
honor of his 19th birthday.
Mr. and Mrs. O. Fuller came from Greenwood
Wednesday to visit Linus Prock and family.
Among those that were here
from Granton for the Mission Fest Sunday we noticed: The Dr. Rose and Oswald
Pischer families, Aug. Riedel and daughter Emma, Wm. Storm and family, Mr. and
Mrs. Ben Dudei, Emil Krause, Henry Schlinsog, Mrs. Caroline Lustig, Mr. and Mrs.
John Goebel, George Reindel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gluch and John Gluch
and family.
Esther George went to Naperville, Ill. Sunday night, as she
has employment there.
