Mrs. Emil Krueger
of Milwaukee is here since Tuesday visiting her mother Mrs. Hantke and sisters
Mrs. Kuechenmeister and Mrs. Kurth, and other relatives.
Mrs. Wm. Yankee
of Tony, who was down to attend the funeral of the late Anthony Lazotte, went
home Monday night.
A fishing party consisting of the Misses Isabelle,
Mary and Ruth Slocomb and their cousin Orlin Slocomb, the Geo. Wilding family,
Geo. Evans, Otto Hantke, Lillie and Joe Lazotte and Esther Zille, Clemens
Kuechenmeister and family and Chas. Ranke autoing to Pittsville, Dexterville,
City Point and Pray Sunday, brought home two big fish, an 18 pound muskellunge
caught by Ranke, and a 19 pounder caught by Evans. The catch was made in the
Yellow River near Pittsville.
The Misses Slocomb and Kuechenmeister with
a bunch of Ridge girls picnicked at Ross Eddy yesterday.
Mrs. Mary Bruley
of Neillsville, with Mrs. N.E. Secord and daughter Marion of Green Bay were
guests of Mrs. Otis Slocomb on Monday.
Elmer Selves was taken suddenly
ill with gall stones and appendicitis Sunday, and was removed to the Neillsville
Hospital to undergo an operation Monday.
